Training Course

26 April 2014 - 30 April 2015 | Sofia, Bulgaria

The objective of the event is to acquire relevant competencies for the employment of gender traditional sport in the non formal education context.

The overall objective of this project is to promote the development of sustainable youth sport network and exchange of best practices by using gender traditional sport as a catalyst for transmitting life skills to children and youth in order to reduce violence and other social ills. The children can get off the streets, learn about rules and fair-play and practice conflict resolution without violence.

Requested trainer profile
• Experience in working with young people
• Experience in non-formal education
• Experience in conducting trainings and seminars
• Knowledge about YOUTH and Erasmus + programme with a special focus on healthy behaviour and physical activity from various perspectives and deal with the importance of Health and Well-being as well as the freedom of thought and expression via an active participation.
• Familiar with youth participation issues
• Have facilitation skills
• Able to deliver workshops on partnership building and communication
• Communicating in English

Working conditions

TRAINERS FEES - following IPCP model and IPCP fees – 5 paid days (50 Euro per day)

• 5 working days during the training
• Days for preparation and evaluation (including individual and team preparation, prep-meeting, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report, prep-meeting dates and final report are not extra paid
• board, lodging and travel costs are covered by organisers for trainers team

Team composition
• 2 facilitators- responsible for programme flow, methodology and final report
• Representative of IPCP– responsible for the organisational part of the training – concept, promotion of the training, co-operation with other NGOs, recruitment of participants, logistics etc.
