Group size: Max 40 participants for each group (from Italy)
Team: 3 facilitators, 2 representatives of the Italian NA.
Theme: Youth Empowerment: How to activate young people in civic life.
General aim:
A call for proposal has been launched with the aim of promoting the active participation of young people on issues that affect their lives, particularly on the theme of “Youth Empowerment: how to activate young people in civic life”.
Objectives:
• To involve young people and youth organisations in civic actions.
• To give young people the opportunity to create proposals and to meet together with policy-makers and decision-makers.
• To exchange the possible ways to work together.
• To develop new and original ideas.
• To get to know different realities and sharing best practices.
• To promote Erasmus+:Youth in Action.
Working language: Italian.
Profile of participants:
Groups composed by:
2 Young people from youth organizations/informal groups.
1 policy-maker/decision-maker from local administrations.
Each group develops a joint concrete proposal, by using the Structured Dialogue tool, and attends one of the following workshops:
• How to involve young people and youth organizations in civic actions.
• What are the priority areas for youth policies in your communities.
• How social media can play an active role in the involvement of young people.
Workshops will provide a basis for an exchange of ideas, the development of concrete proposals for youth policies at local level, and to prepare key messages to be presented to politicians in the debate to be held at national level on the 8th of May.
Requested trainer profile
The Italian NA is looking for 3 facilitators to conduct the workshops. We are looking for facilitators with the following profile:
• Excellent Italian skills.
• Experience with facilitation of seminars, group discussions, workshops, making sense of contributions from different stakeholders, and leading to coherent outcomes.
• Experience & knowledge of the topic: active participation and citizenship, youth engagement, Structured Dialogue methodology, policies relevant to young people, synergies between formal, non-formal and informal learning.
• Experience & knowledge of the E+ programme.
Working conditions
Facilitator fees
The Italian NA uses the SALTO trainer fee system (www.salto-youth.net/trainerfees/). We calculate 1,5 days at 250EUR per day, in total: 375EUR.
The Italian NA will cover the trainer’s travel & subsistence costs for the activity itself.
Team composition
Team: 3 facilitators, 2 representatives of the Italian NA.

How to apply:
The trainers can apply filling in the application form in attachment.
A Commission composed by 3 internal members of Italian NA will evaluate the application.
