SALTO Inclusion and NA Portugal is looking for 1 trainer.

Description
Theme:

The launch of the E+: Youth in Action programme and the Inclusion & Diversity Strategy ushered in a period of change for National Agencies and their work on inclusion & diversity. New roles and new demands have created a need for a more strategic approach. But what is "strategy"? What is involved in developing a strategy specifically on inclusion & diveristy? How do you know if your NA actually needs an inclusion & diversity strategy? How do you do it? These and other questions will be addressed by this Inclusion Colleague Support Group for NA inclusion officers.

Aim:
To support the NAs in developing their own national-level inclusion & diversity strategies and by doing so, maximise the results and impact of their inclusion work.

Objectives:
• To discuss and exchange on ID strategies in different countries;
• To de-mystifies strategy and encourages NAs to take a more strategic approach to inclusion & diversity;
• To share and create ideas on how to make the most of the NA’s (limited) resources to have lots of inclusion impact;
• To gain knowledge on step-by-step approach which NAs can use to develop their own national-level inclusion & diversity strategies;
• To (start) develop(ing) national-level inclusion & diversity strategies.

Programme elements:
• Intro & getting to know each other;
• Sharing national concepts and realities on ID;
• Presenting the E+: YiA ID Strategy and the work of the ID Steering Group;
• What is strategy? Why do we need one?;
• Presenting a step-by-step approach which NAs can use to develop their own national-level inclusion strategies;
• Mapping the needs and resources;
• Working on strategy development;
• Creating an individual action plan;
• Evaluation.

Target group:
15 E+ National Agencies Youth in Action Staff, the inclusion or diversity officers.

Requested trainer profile
We are looking for trainer with:

• Good English skills;
• Experience with trainings and facilitation of international events, group discussions, providing space and dynamic methods for participants to share their practices…;
• Experience & knowledge of the topic: inclusion & diversity;
• Experience & knowledge of the sturcture, role and work of the National Agency;
• Availability for the prep-meeting and events.

Working conditions
• 3 full working days: 15-18 March 2016 (arrival on 14th, departure on 19th), Lisbon, Portugal;
• One prep meeting: 12 (arrival by lunch) – 13 of November 2015 (departure after 17h), Lisbon, Portugal;
• Working language English.

Trainers fees
SALTO Inclusion uses the SALTO trainer fee system (www.salto-youth.net/trainerfees/). We calculate 3 working days at 280€ per day, plus a lump sum of 840€ covering all preparation, communication and follow-up. In total: 1680€ all in (VAT included). SALTO Inclusion (Jint vzw) will cover the facilitator’s travel & subsistence costs for the prep meeting & and event.

Team composition
Cooperation between: SALTO Inclusion/NA Belgium-Flanders & the Portuguese E+ National Agencies for Youth in Action.

Team at the event:
• 1 trainer;
• 2 SALTO Inclusion staff;
• 1 or 2 NA Portugal staff.
