European Commission' s Education in Road Safety Challenge 2015

Data: 16/11/2015

The European Commission is calling all schools to participate in the Road Safety Challenge: Road Safe Kids &Teens.

Traffic accidents remain a leading cause of child mortality. Early education is essential in developing safe and responsible attitudes today that will influence the decisions young drivers make when the time comes for them to get behind the wheel. By starting or building on a road safety programme in the schools, a valuable lesson is being taught, one that can save lives!

Schools can participate until 31th of december of 2015. They can publish activities done during between May-December 2015. Also, if they didn't developed any action during this period but they have activities planned for the following months of the scholar year, they can also participate describing their program plan.

Winning participants will be invited to Brussels in March 2016 for the award ceremony and their school?s safety programme will be highlighted on our webpage.

Entry is quick and easy. Guidelines and more information in your language can be found here.

If you want you can give me the contact details of the schools/teachers who are working road safety with the students and we will contact them.
