Call for Trainers: 360º of Earling School Leaving - M&M Profuture Training, S.L. is looking for 1 - 3 trainers (with experience in formal education situations).

We are looking for an expert/s to work with us in this general course.

[SALTO remark - this is not the 'usual youth training course' but we still send it to all trainers in TOY to make the bridge between non-formal methods for the formal education sector - A little challenge for you?]

This general structured intensive course aims to improve participant’s knowledge and practical skills when dealing with students at risk of early school leaving, by using innovative methodologies in order to enhance their motivation and involvement and by offering tools and methods to deal with the daily stress and lack of motivation. This course will help participants to build on their existing instructional skills, giving them multiple opportunities to know the ESL reality and to improve the way they design, conduct, and manage the ESL phenomena. In addition to that, the course will be an opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas of common interest on ESL.


Objectives
• To improve participant’s knowledge and practical skills when dealing with students at risk of early school leaving by using innovative methodologies in order to enhance their motivation and involvement.
• To deepen their knowledge about the multi-facet reasons of early school leaving (ESL).
• To acquire knowledge about early school leaving situation in different European countries.
• To develop tools and techniques that can be used in order to increase students’ motivation.
• To understand and develop effective coach and stress management mechanism, especially important for those who work in highly demanding environment of ESL.
• To discuss and analyze strengths and weaknesses of approaches adopted in different member states.


Modules of the training course

Module 1. Early leavers in education

• Practices across Europe;
• The problem of failure and dropping out of school;
• Educational theories;
• Reasons for failure according to educators;
• Identification of students at risk.

Module 2. Innovative teaching methods and trends
• Strategies to combat lack of motivation;
• Creativity and innovation;
• The role of new technologies;
• Game as an educational tool;
• Flipped methodology.

Module 3. Coach and the Stress management
• Role of thoughts, feelings, body and behaviour in stress response;
• Exploring internal world in stressful conditions – understanding “my patterns”;
• Building stress and coach management techniques: mindfulness, self-reflection, relaxation techniques, etc.;
• Learning a wide variety of tools and resources to apply in the classroom to create well-being.

NOTE: They will be concreted after analyzing the concrete students' needs.

Dates: 11/04/2016 - 15/04/2016.

Duration:
20 hours.


Requested trainer profile
• C1 English;
• Experience in teaching (2 - 3 years);
• Deep knowledge of the topics;
• Dynamic and motivating in class;
• Good comunicative skills.

Working conditions
We offer both, laboral contract or freelance agreement to be concreted with the expert.

• Manager.
