Training Course YSE – Youth and School Exchanging

19-23 October 2016 | Konstancin-Jeziorna n/Warsaw, Poland

TC targeted at organizations and schools with little or big experience within the framework of youth exchanges in the field of Youth and executors of projects containing short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in the field of School Education Erasmus+.

Aims: improvement of quality of working and evaluation methods used in youth and school education projects, exchange of good practices, supporting partner-finding and networking among organizations and schools.

Objectives: developing new youth and school projects under the E+ programme including short term exchanges, exchange of previous experience and good practice among participants; better understanding of the eligibility and quality criteria of youth and short-term school exchanges among participants; impulse to improve and strengthen international cooperation in the field of youth and school education by giving participants possibility to exchange ideas for further projects so they are ready to send application to respective National Agencies for upcoming deadlines.

The training course is offered to representatives of youth organizations or informal groups, representatives of local authorities, employees of local governments and other public institutions, workers and volunteers of NGOs, community centre’s, youth-clubs active in the field of Youth and school teachers who’s schools are willing to participate in Erasmus+ programme.

Target group:
1.
Adults who are school teachers, youth workers or representatives of non-formal groups of young people that have a mandate to enter into a partnership with other organizations/groups;
2. Little or big experienced with E+ Youth or School Education projects (or previous programmes);
3. Willing to develop and implement a youth exchange or a project containing short-term exchange in school education;
4. Able to communicate and work in English.


Requested trainer profile

Trainer’s profile:

• experienced in non-formal and school education;
• experienced in implementing projects concerning educational, transnational exchanges of pupils/young people;
• experienced in carrying out trainings and seminars related to project management, risk management and international communication, evaluation;
• experienced in carrying out not less than 2 international seminars as a trainer;
• knowledge of the Erasmus+ Programme with a special focus on sector of Youth and School education;
• very good level of spoken and written English;
• knowledge of youth policy.


Working conditions
The event is planned to take place in Konstancin-Jeziorna nearby Warsaw, in the days 19-23 October 2016 (trainers may arrive one day before). The preparatory meeting will be held on the PL NA premises (Warsaw) in the days 6-7 June 2016.

The fee we offer is 1680 € (280 € per day):
• 4 working days during the seminar;
• 2 days for preparation and evaluation (including individual and team preparation, prep-meeting, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report; prep-meeting dates and final report are not extra paid);
• board, lodging and travel costs are covered by organisers.


Team composition
• 2 trainers
- responsible for the programme flow, methodology and final report – 1 from Poland and 1 from abroad;
• 1 Polish supporting (junior) trainer
representatives of the Polish NA – responsible for the organisational part of the seminar (concept, promotion of the training, cooperation with other NAs, recruitment of participants, logistics, etc.).
