ESN Split

We hope you are ready to squeeze back into your swimsuits because this month we are traveling to the sunny Croatian coast. Close your eyes and imagine the sound of sea waves as you welcome Section in the Spotlight of May: ESN Split! ESN Split celebrates its 4th birthday this year, and their most successful year yet! We can confirm that just by looking at all the creative events organised for Erasmus students - from theme parties to cultural activities and field trips. See more.


News

• SocialErasmus Week Spring 2016

Between 2nd and 8th May, a new edition of the SocialErasmus Week will take place all around Europe. Through different actions organised by our sections, both ESN members and the international youth will have the chance to become heroes and create a long-lasting positive impact on society. • First Ever ExchangeAbility Day!
ExchangeAbility Day - an event in celebration of ESN's newly elected Flagship Project - brought Europe together through events and activities that raise awareness about obstacles faced daily by students with disabilities. The campaign also encouraged ESNers to post photos or videos in social media showing what accessibility means to them. See the outcomes of the project under the hashtags #ExchangeAbility and #WhatIsAccessibility. See more.

• From a Hobby to a Life-changing Experience
ESN allows us to bash in all the glory of informal learning. We experience the teachings and skills development in a different way and, in return, our life adapts a different shape. "ESN changed my life for the better," says Stanislav Stanek on #myESNcareer. See more.


Europe besides ESN

• Learn More about Youth Employment

AEGEE, together with the Catholic University of Milan and Cardiff University, has embarked upon the collaborative research project, Lifestyle in Mobility. The project aims to investigate how studying abroad affects students’ lifestyle and health behaviours. See more.

• 7th Model ASEM
The Model ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting), a three-day youth conference, is a platform for political debate and negotiation where over 150 participants experience Asia-Europe diplomacy situations through role-play exercises and practical trainings. The event is fully sponsored and consists of three phases, with the meeting happening in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Apply here!
