System and Generation Association is looking for partners for our new project:

Solidarity Corps vs. EVS within the frame of the European Youth Strategy.

Aims of the project are:

The main aim is to allow organizations to develop networking, increase their capacity to operate at national and transnational level, share practices and methods about the involvement of youth workers in the process of decision making.
• To promote youth engagement, through volunteering;
• To give perspective to youth workers how to be more involved in Solidarity Corps and Europeers networks;
• Building bridges between young people, NGOs, youth centers, youth workers and policy makers;
• To provide a meeting point for organizations to exchange information and to build a solid network for youth workers;
• To promote implementation of the good practices of Solidarity Corps, Europeers and ENYC;
• To improve quality and the participation of young people and youth workers in youth councils;
• To ensure better links between NGO’s working in the frame of the European Youth Strategy.

Duration of the mobility will be: starts on 11th to the 16th of June 2017.

Venue: Didim, Turkey.

Who
: Target group of the seminar will be youth workers, coming from partner organizations from ENYC and new potential partners of the network.

Roles and responsibilities of partner organizations:
• Find active young people to participate in the seminar, to be motivated and engaged to the whole process of the project;
• Carry out their activities in a non-governmental organization or in a local authority;
• Experience in projects with young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods, or projects linked with some social rights;
• Involvement in planning and implementing the youth work provision and consultations;
• Having experience in cooperation with local/regional institutions.

Topics:
The project will give the participants the opportunity to confront youth workers issues and to develop networks involving youngsters in decision making with the local and national institutions.
Participants will reflect and discuss the creation of youth committee in ENYC and its tasks and responsibilities.
Participants will explore the different opportunities and impact of Solidarity Corps and Europeers programs.

Activities:
• Workshops and panel presentations;
• Workshop on Structured Dialogue and beyond;
• Field visits to NGO’s;
• Discussion and debates with local institutions and stakeholders;
• New projects and activities proposals for youth workers’ involvement in decision making;
• Sharing efficient cross sectoral tools.

The activities’ expected results:
• To create a youth counseling group that will bring fresh ideas in ENYC
• To disseminate the knowhow and good practices of Europeers.
• To advocate for Solidarity Corps in partner countries.
• To involve more actors in the cooperation.
