ASPEm is a NGO working in international development since 1979.
ASPEm is currently engaged in developmental projects regarding international mobility and volunteering around Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa and citizenship education in Italy.


OWERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
ASPEm is currently seeking a person, who will assist the project manager in her daily tasks and will initially support her in managing volunteering and international mobility programs, such as EU AID VOLUNTEER, Erasmus Plus and Civil Service in Italy and abroad.


YOUR KEY RESPONSABILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Support the project manager in the activities described below:

• manage administration and accounting tasks, and supervise the project cycle;
• organise and run trainings and educational sessions;
• manage and update social media.


THE SUCCESSFULL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

ESSENTIAL
• experience of planning, implementing and managing projects, general administration skills;
• experience (2 years minimum) of running training and educational sessions targeting young people and adults;
• strong consultancy, analytical and communications skills;
• experience of communication and media such as editing websites and using social media as tools for the promotion of social activities and events;
• experience of writing reports and statements both in Italian an English;
• good attention to detail, and high standards of accuracy;
• good social and interpersonal skills;
• the ability of working autonomously and to handle a varied workload;
• be flexible and ready to frequent business trips.

Languages skills:
• English: advanced
• Spanish: upper-intermediate

DESIRABLE

• degree level or equivalent in economics, business, politics, international relations or humanities;
• knowledge and experience of International development and education;
• experience of volunteer jobs and/or civil service.
