We will focus on some interesting myths in the different cultures. Our myths are something like windows through which we can see the lifestyles and culture of our ancestors. We need to know our European friends better and learning something about their past would be a good start. Students sometimes find history boring, and thus, for preventing the lack of motivation in learning their, and of course, their European friends' pasts, myths will be useful because they are really interesting and most of our students will find them amusing. The project progress will be as follows:
Each institution will set-up workgroups consisting of teachers and students for different purposes. First they will focus on their own myths, and then they'll have a chance to learn more about some of the other cultures' legends by sharing the project products such as booklets and drawings. Students' creativity in artistic works and literature will be strengthened, too. They will make some artistic works like paintings or sculptures. Pupils will also use technology to show artistic works and myths of their country. Their creativeness in drama will also be used in the project. During the school visits, our students will share their products, and they will have a chance to observe the lifestyles of their European friends.
