We represent a pre-primary school from Romania. Children and teachers, we'll be very glad to join a Comenius multilateral Project. We have already a partner from Greece, but as it would be our first experience in a Comenius project, we prefer to join a project or elaborate jointly a new one, according to the age of our children. Our pre-primary school is located in a town called Pucioasa. "Prichindel " kindergarten has a reputation of 50 years of quality education and has demonstrated the ability to cope with the demands of the new millennium. It has 158 learners. It's a pre-primary school and the duration of education here is 4 years. The educational activities are developed on two levels of age, one from 3 to 5 years and other from 5 to 7 years. We have 6 classes, 2 on short programme and 4 other on long programme. The headmaster of our school, Mrs. Ionescu Aurelia, managed to develop this pre-primary school in one of the worthiest schools in our county. There are 23 employees in our school, 11 of whom are teachers. The pre-primary school has six classrooms, a library, a kitchen, a surgery and a common room. The teachers work in the Step by Step alternative and in the traditional education. Besides the usual activities of a normal kindergarten ( language, mathematics, science, civics, music, physical training, painting), in our school, we offer English and Dance lessons.
