The Macedonian organization Triagolnik is looking for partners to realize a youth exchange on the topic of intercultural dialogue. The project, called “Interculturalism – future of Europe” , will take in Ohrid, Macedonia, from 5-11 October 2010.
Objectives:
1. To connect youth NGOs which work on the promotion of intercultural dialogue and inter-religious co-operation among youth in Europe;
2. To review the role of intercultural educational theoretical and practical approaches in relation to contemporary social realities faced by young people;
3. To provide exchange of information about cultural discrimination in the region and develop adequate policy and practical responses to situations of discrimination and intolerance affecting young people;
4. To develop young people’s personal skills, knowledge and attitudes to deal with culture, tradition and religious diversity;
5. To further involve local authorities and educational institutions in the promotion of Intercultural dialogue with young people;
Target group: young people in age range of 18-25
Four participants plus 1 Leader form each organization.
