Our town Güroymak is a developed town of the province Bitlis. Bitlis is a city in the east of Turkey. It is located near the Lake Van and is very rich in terms of history and culture. Our Project is a Grundtvig Learning Partnership. It aims to develop and extend local handicraft.
Partners are from Italy and Romania. These countries are seeking foreign partners in olamak institutions.
Objectives:
- To Exchange information about local handicrafts between EU countries.
- To compare the techiques and methods that the participating countries use in handicrafts.
- To meet the differences correlatively in the area of handicraft.
- To make the participants know eachother and become friendly at once.
Target Group:
Principles of institution, teachers. Totally people 16 4 of which are principles and 12 of which are teachers, will join the Project.
The process of the Project: 2 Years
Distribution of Task:
- Partners will share their projects via e-mail.
- Partners will create committee in their own institutions.
- Bulletin boards will be created in the institutions.
- The activities will be published on the website that prepared mutually.
- Each partner will make a sample of its handicraft belonging to its area.
Extending the results of the project:
- In order to compose the general point of view, all the education staff will be involved acctively, and all the trainees and participants will be informed.
- Representatively, during the visits it will be provided that the families will be involved in the project.
- All the job that is done will be announced to wide audiences via website and local media.
- The jobs of project will be transfered to the all institutions that provide adult education among our town and our city
Activities:
- Introducing the institution and administration of the institution
- Introducing the city
- Showing the important historical places and natural beauties of the area
- Introducing the local handicraft
- Closure
The impression of the project among the target groups:
- Initially, cultural approach will be provided with the European Countries.
- It will be provided that partners will learn the applications of the local handicrafts from eachother, and local handicraft will be kept alive by exchanging information about how to extend the local handicrafts.
- It will be provided that different cultures will become friendly at once with international collaboration.
- Dialog and intercultural tolerance will be created by conveying wide audiences with the participation of trainees and local representatives and over the media.
