We are looking for grundtvig multilateral partner for the project below:
Our project aims to have a clear comparison between partner countries about the positive effects of the education in prisons so as to rehabilitate the prisoners. Prisoners are the ones who have to rehabilitated by the educators or adult education centers. In many European countries prisoners get a limited hour of course so that their punishment can be lowered to some extent. However this is not the case in all European countries. We will try to define how to apply such positive educational aspect to the prisoners of each country’s prisons. In order to make the prisoners join educational courses the best way is to reduce the punishment they have. Together with this motivation they can get some vocational training courses and use their knowledge upon their emancipation which they get through punishment reduction. At the end of the project we are planning to prepare a law draft to present to the ministry of justice on how to apply adult education and vocational training to the prisoners and how to motivate them to join the rehabilitation and vocational training courses in order to get punishment reduction.
