“Experiencing Active Citizenship in Rural Areas" is a project which brings together a group of 16 youngsters from Europe and Caucasus for a period of nine months. The project will start on 10th March 2010 and its theme is rural development. The main objectives of the project are to stimulate intercultural learning process and enhance the European Awareness and Active Participation within the hosting community, provide the context and the opportunity for all volunteers to develop both personally s well as socially by acquiring and improving new skills and competences as well as boost their self- confidence, encourage the participation of youngsters with fewer opportunities .The project will focus on formal education activities with youngsters from the hosting community.
