They are searching for different kinds of projects in European and non-European countries and we, of course would like to help them to find their future placements. Our future volunteers are at the age of 18 to 25. They come from Erfurt and its surrounding area. They prefer travelling to the following countries and regions as:
France, Scandinavian countries, Ireland, Spain, UK, Tunesia, Egypt, Turkey, Portugal, The Netherlands, Russia, Italy, South Eastern Europe (SEE).
We would like to motivate and to help our future volunteers. For this reason, our organisation is interested to make new partnerships and search for free places in projects with the countries above
About us:
Culture Goes Europe (CGE) - Soziokulturelle Initiative Erfurt e.V. is active in the fields of local, national and international youth work, arts and cultural activities and in political education through the realisation of different projects and programmes with local, national and international partners. Our special focus applies for the countries and cultures in Eastern and South Eastern Europe. Our aims and objectives are:
- To provide high quality non-formal programmes to young people in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany and Europe;
- To train young people committed to peace, democracy and solidarity;
- To support the integration of young people into the society and to activate their civil engagement;
- To raise young people's engagement for solving community, educational, environmental and social problems;
- To promote a better understanding of cultural diversity and the fight against racism, discrimination, xenophobia and nationalism .
