Who we are:
The name of our organization is “Association for Equality”. Our working area is youth issues about nondiscrimination parts of the life. Until now our group has already perform European Commission.
Abstract:
This project is open for the applications from youth NGO’s, municipalities, city councils and youth groups who are working on social inclusion topics. Main aim of the project is create awareness on gender equality by the cooperation ofmyouth leaders, youth workers and youth volunteers. According to the project activities we try to create new image for youngsters to think on social backgrounds, social benefit and social gender.
Dates of the Project:
We plan to perform the Training Course the date between 19-26 September 2010. The project activities will take totally 7 days.
Working Topics:
During the project we will have four different working topics. These are,
• What is social gender equality and why we need it?
• General perspectives and policies of the social gender equality.
• As youth NGOs how we can promote the social gender equality on our works.
• What are the measures of European Union about social gender balance?
Target Group:
Non - Governmental Organizations (NGO), City Councils, Municipalities and Youth Groups are eligible for application. The age degrees of the participants are 20 – 30.
Participant Number:
Totally 3 participants can join the project per each partner organization. But please take care about the gender balance.
Conditions:
During the project we are going to stay at hotel in Canakkale.
Youthpass:
At the end of the project all participants can have a chance to have a youthpass certificate.
Reimbursement:
The reimbursement will be made according to the rules of Youth Program. 70 % of the travel costs will be reimbursed upon tickets, invoices, boarding passes, etc. We need to receive all original travel prof documents. The policy of our NA is that taxi costs are not reimbursed. Please, use the public transport and keep all tickets. The travel costs and visa costs will be reimbursed on the basis of the most economic transport fares and on presentation of the relevant receipts and original tickets. All accommodation and food costs will pay by the organizer. Visa costs are the eligible costs. We are not responsible for the costs of the medical insurance.
