IMAGINA- Servicio de Juventud de Alcobendas is looking motivated candidates for our EVS projects in Alcobendas, Spain.
Duration:
From October 1st 2010 to June 30th 2011
Project’s description:
The volunteer will be integrated into the Youth Animation team of Imagina and will help the management of the different activities held by this sector. His/Her main task will be to plan the exibitions in the “Cubo”, a free space dedicated to be used by the young artists of the town, and to take part in planning and organizing exhibitions in other cultural spaces.
Target group:
Young people from 16 till 30 years old.
Objectives:
- Give to the young artists of the town a chance to express themselves;
- Promote art among the youngsters;
- Help to the management of the Youth Animation programs.
Main activities:
- Take part in the planification of the activities;
- Be in contact with local young artist and deal with them for each exhibition;
- Be in charge of all the task realted to the preparation of exhibitions;
- Support the management of the programs held by the sector;
- Communicate and spread activities information among the youngsters of the city;
- Be involved in Imagina’s working process, meetings, evaluations...,
- Bring creativity and new ideas to the programs of the Youth Animation sector.
