Associação Raise It Now is a non-profit NGO based in Loures, Portugal, founded in June 2010. The mission is set as promoting entrepreneurship and social economy. Its main value is social entrepreneurship. They're preparing an application for a partnership building activity (for the next deadline, September 1) under action 3.1 of the Youth in Action programme and looking for partner organizations from programme and neighbouring countries.

Date:March 26 to March 31, 2011
Partners:
6 organizations from Programme countries and 6 organizations from
Neighbouring Partner countries (Eastern Europe and Caucasus,
Mediterranean, South East Europe). Applications from organizations based in coastal countries are particularly welcome.
Teams: 2 youth leaders / workers (no age limit) per organization
Summary:
This partnership building activity will take place between March 26
and 31, 2011, with 24 people from 12 different countries. The goal is
to analyze and explore sustainable projects and various ways of
developing a specific coastline region to ensure future jobs and
successful entrepreneurship activities. Nevertheless, coastline regions have advantages and disadvantages. It’s time for youngsters from Europe and from the Mediterranean area to learn about new strategies with specialists, representatives of companies and universities, and successful entrepreneurs, in order to tackle the current economic situation and look ahead to the evolution of the dynamics of employment and entrepreneurship.
Some of the planned activities are:
- Workshops about entrepreneurship in coastline regions;
- Analysis and discussion of successful cases;
- Study visits to successful industries in the area;
- Elaboration of projects based on coastline activities.

from where you live (round trip);
- Cost estimation for a round trip ticket between your nearest airport
and Lisbon airport;
- Cost of your visa to come to Portugal (if applicable);
- A scanning of your fully filled part 3 (you can find the template
enclosed, do not use outdated forms) (alternatively, part 3 can also be sent by fax, please mention that in your reply).
