The ideal candidate will have the following practical qualifications and attributes:
- Enthusiasm and attention to detail;
- An interest in climate science and policy;
- An interest in writing about the climate debate;
- Someone who understands and wants to support the values of the ECF;
- Relevant work experience or academic background in the fields of journalism, environmental studies or communications;
- A self-motivated fast learner who can work well in a small team;
- Fluency in English is required.

What you’ll get out of it: valuable firsthand professional experience and development, an introduction to the ECF and ESC’s vast network of connections in the field, and the chance to learn key investigative skills, network with scientists and science reporters and extend your knowledge of climate change.

Duration: At least 3 months.
