International Children's Games Conference
Health and Wellbeing Conference - 2 to 4 August 2011
ICG Lanarkshire in association with the International Sport and Culture Association, the Scottish Association of Local Sports Councils, NHS Lanarkshire, University of the West of Scotland and the Scottish Government have the pleasure of inviting you to a Health and Wellbeing conference to coincide with the Lanarkshire International Children's Games.
The conference will create a dialogue on issues affecting young people today such as sport, active citizenship and wellbeing. There is no chance you will just be sitting listening to speakers. Everyone who attends will have a very active part to play through:
- Non formal education learning workshops and lectures on a variety of topics
- Being fully involved in sharing your experience through case studies, role play or poster presentations
- Taking part in sessions that encourage lively interaction between young people, experts and decision makers
