Target Group:
18-25 Years old young people We invite young people from all around Europe who are interested in chess in terms of European Dimensions, intercultural learning, project management. You do not need have experience in the field but we expect participants who have high motivation to learn about the wide range of CHESS.
Applicant Countries: EU Member Countries
Cost:
70 % of the real travel costs and %100 of the accommodation will be covered by the “YOUTH” program of the European commission. You will be staying with us at Dardanos campus of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
How to apply:
Fill in the Part III Form, sign and stamp first send by fax and then send by post the original copy.
Activities:
• Acquaintance;
• Chess seminar;
• Friendly match between the chess players of countries (peace and friendship);
• Blindfold chess show (disability concept) chess games for visitor countries against every age (universality simulation);
• Chess games with humans (the pieces will be humans from every country)(friendship and team work);
• Chess film show;
• Walking in the city customized as chess pieces for universalize the chess(volunteer projects);
• Share chess materials for the children’s or people who need (volunteer projects);
• Chess course for beginners (volunteer projects);
• Everyone painting a wall with oil colour, what chess is for them (art);
• Free time activities swimming in the sea;
• Disco in Çanakkale;
• Camp fire with instruments;
• Party in Dardanos;
• Troy and Assos (mythological trip).
