Yil Lycee from Istanbul. We are looking for a partner schools for our ready comenius project.
The aim is:
The aims of this project are based on acknowledge of the recent tendencies among the youth regarding their indifference or mistrust about their capability of changing something by participating at vote into local and national election systems. The teachers involved in the project consider that using our different experiences in this matter we could improve our national educational system in order to form the civic spirit of our pupils during school. The partners in this project intend to realize a wide range of didactic materials; an informative guide and a curriculum for an optional course for educates the pupils in the spirit of a more active participation at the civic life. The pupils and teachers involved the project will participate at meetings, discussion forums and workshops based on brainstorming and different other activities in the purpose of realising a comparative analysis between their national elective systems and the European one. The finals results will be stocked in a CD and will consist of didactic materials, questionnaires, a didactic guide and a curriculum for an optional course with the subject proposed by the present project. It is also expected that the project activities will help the participating schools to improve the teacher-student relationship, in the same time also strengthening the links between the schools, parents and the local communities. Both teams of pupils from the participating schools will develop close collaboration on the different project activities, helping them to have a long term partnership and friendship.
