Summary:
The European conference brings together people from international youth work, adult education and senior citizen work sectors, from all over Europe. The aim is to work on possibilities of intergenerational learning within international youth work.
Target group:
Project managers, Trainers, Youth Policy Makers, Youth workers Represantatives of NGOs, foundations and state driven services, who are interested in the issue.
For participants from:
Youth in Action programme countries, neighbouring partner countries.
Group size: 50 participants.
Details:
The conference consists of keynote speeches on the topic, case studies and discussions on methods for international multi-generational exchange, introduction of European Networks concerning intergenerational dialogue, survey of EU-fundraising for intergenerational exchange, presentation of best-practice-projects and workshops on different aspects of the issue.
Costs:
Participation fee: Participants from GER, FRA, BEL, NED, SLO and old EU-member states -> 100,00 € Participants from POL and new EU-member states -> 60,00 € The participation fee covers full board and accomodation in double or single rooms (extra fee) in the International Youth Meeting Centre, a two-day programme of keynote speeches, panel discussions, method inputs and workshops, as well as workshop materials. Travel costs: The travel costs can be fully reimbursed up to a maximum of 150,00 € per person. The money will be reimbursed after the conference on the basis of the original tickets which have to be handed in. Please direct your connections towards Wroclaw / Breslau, we will organize the further transport to Krzyzowa with a shuttle bus.
Working language: The conference language is English with simultaneous translation into German and Polish.
