The Project of Cultures In My Mill is a contribution to the cross cultural dialogue of the youngs taking part in Kavak and Asarcik Local History. The theme of the Project held in collaboration with Turkey, Hungary and Spain is to share the contributions of watermills and windmills to the public in the sense of socio-culture, to introduce the products that the mills produce, to demonstrate the disappearing cultural richness of the society which has been industrialized and has experienced rising technology due to the abandonment of mills. We will be including the interaction between the participants by contributing to the cross-cultural co-operation over the mills. From each participating country there will be 6 teenagers and a group leader, so there will be totally 21 people. Project will take place in Asarcik, Kavak and Samsun province and will last for 7 days. Teenage boys and girls (Turkish group Asarcik Anatolion School language class student, other part from Kavak Public Education Center) will do activities together, contribute to intercultural dialogue and their own cultural elements and be aware of the importance of cultural heritage. The project activities, details of which will be planned by teenagers will be realized with full involvement of teenagers themselves and activities will be evaluated day by day. We will share to our history and their history,In the other hand during the project time we will make workshops, show their folk dancing and teach it to other teenagers, participate in the visits to some historical and cultural places.
