Summary:
The festival aims to provide an environment to its participants which young people will be able to create their own workshops, enjoy the multicultural environment and find a place to discuss and rediscover the word “volunteering”.
Target group:
Trainers, Young people, Youth leaders, Youth workers
EVS Volunteers, ex-EVS volunteers, potential EVS volunteers.
For participants from: Youth in Action programme countries, neighbouring partner countries.
Group size: 150 participants.
Details:
The Festival has been launched first in Mardin and the following year in Batman to create a platform for young people and youth workers to exchange their ideas and feelings with young people from different cultural backgrounds. Now it is time to announce the third one in Gaziantep. This year the festival aims to provide an environment to its participants which young people will be able to create their own workshops, enjoy the multicultural environment and find a place to discuss and rediscover the word “volunteering”. Since 2011 has been announced by EU as “European year of volunteering”, it will be a great chance to put this word on the stage in a multicultural platform. Besides being a participant you can also use the festival to organise a workshop or any other activity that would fit to the framework of the festival.
Costs:
Travel and accommodation costs of the selected applicants will be covered by Turkish National Agency.
