Details:
The main aim of Shades of Rainbow is to create an intercultural environment between the participants and to let dance speak as a common language and to form an European Dance with the participation of all groups. The project will take part at the same time with the great event Izzet Baysal Days in May.
Participants: 7+1(1 group leader)
All participants should have knowledge of their natural folk dances. Being professional is not necessary but participants should know that they will bring their folklore costumes while coming Turkey and they will also take part in some street performances to show their dances.
Activities:
Main activities are learning folk dances of the other countries, showing performances, participating some local voluntary activities, workshops, cultural nights, etc.
If you want to be a partner, please follow steps below:
• Give a short description of your organisation;
• If you have similar experiences, mention about them;
• What is the nearest airport and cost of travel expenses to Istanbul(Atatürk Airport);
• Visa cost(if required);
• Are there any young people with fewer opportunities in your group? If yes what are their obstacles?(social, economical, etc.);
• Are there any video of your live performances? Give a link of them(youtube or other video sites).
Costs:
%100 Accomodation and Food is covered. %70 of travel costs covered (after the receiving the original receipts).
For now, do not sent us PartIII. There is a possibility that it may change in 2011. We will want it from the selected partners.
