Number participants per country: 5 participants + 1 group leader.
We are looking for partners for a project situated in south east of Turkey, in Gaziantep. By Learning and discovering different European cultures, we aim to increase the Youth's ability to adapt to new contexts. By Taking conscience of the cultural diversity in Europe, we wish to give sense of belonging to Europe as well as the identification of community values based on this cultural diversity. The exchange of knowledge about stereotypes in different cultures, can also help to overcome prejudice, which often leads to racism.
Our acivities are based on workshops and groups works, to make young people think about stereotypes they have about other countries. They will have to think about they idea of nationality, what is a nation for them. Body language is also different across countries and it can sometimes result in misunderstanding.The group will share information about them and their culture, and tradition.
Costs:
100% of food and lodging and 70% of travel cost using the cheapest means of transport are provided by the youth in action program of european commission.
