Aim is to motivate & reactive early school leavers to return to education and to exchange good practices on working with school drop outs.
Target group:
Project managers, Youth leaders, Youth workers youth workers, social workers relevant NGOs + public services representatives working with school-dr.
For participants from:
Youth in Action programme countries.
Group size: 22 participants.
Details:
General aim:
Is to to motivate & reactive early school leavers to return to education and to create the possibility for exchange of good practices on working with school drop outs, get youth workers and social workers familiar with approaching methods, help them understand the diverse environments and involve intercultural communication.
Objectives:
• To motivate school drop outs to return for the obligatory educational period;
• To go to second opportunity schools;
• To access the non formal education & its perspectives.
Target group:
• youth workers, social workers relevant NGOs + public services representatives working with school-dropouts (active in inclusion field);
• Older than 18;
• Able to express themselves in English;
• Interested in exploring the possibilities that NFL within YiA is offering to individual and social development;
• Able to attend the TC for the full duration of the course.
Costs:
Hosting costs will be covered by the hosting NA. In case your are selected, the sending costs for participants will (partly) be reimbursed by the sending NAs depending on the national regulations. Please check the financial conditions with your sending National Agency.
