We are a group from Ankara, Turkey who would like to introduce the art of marbling. Therefore, we are looking for EU partners for our marbling workshop that we would like to organize in July 2011 with our young marblers. Marbling is an ancient art of Turkey printing multi-colored swirled, stone like patterns or flower patterns on paper or fabric. The patterns are formed by floating the colors on the surface of a liquid and then laying the paper or fabric onto the colors to absorb them. Marbling is a very entertaining art. There ara a variety of patterns and color combinations that you can create endless designs. You will be amazed each time you create your own imagination.
