We are very glad to invite you to our approved Partnership-Building Activity on Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment which will take place in Mus/Turkey on 13-18 May 2011. For 5 days 11 different EU countries will be in Turkey. Poverty has been in the center of many problems in the recent years. Experience over the past decade has shown that “active” social policies can change this perspective and help achieve lasting reductions in poverty and exclusion. Active social policies help people overcome obstacles to getting a job, whether through training, providing childcare or helping match people to job vacancies. According to the statistics %47 of all unemployed persons globally are young women and men and 660 million young people will either be working or looking for work in 2015. Becoming owner of a micro or small enterprise could be an alternative for a young person who has an entrepreneurial mindset but also possesses some basic requirements like skills and knowledge. Awareness about this career option, and the given enabling environment for enterprise creation, play a crucial role for a successful start-up. We think that collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders in the field of youth entrepreneurship and the close cooperation with the governments and the nongovernmental associations are needed to stimulate the Youth Entrepreneurship. We hope to come with nongovernmental organizations which are interested in youth employment and entrepreneurship. Our final aim is to make future projects after our partnership building activity. We also hope to have the opportunity to exchange our experiences and create good networks that could work in the future. This course will be the opportunity to enhance exchange, partnership and co-operation. We are going to use formal and non-formal education methods with an intercultural dimension. After our first announcement, we received your partnership agreements (Part 3) about your willingness to participate in our training course. Turkish National agency approved our project. We are now in the process to arrange our Project. But we had to change the dates of our project. Please send us your application forms before 27th March 2011. 2 or 3 participants will join from each organisation. And there is no age limit for the participants (gender balance is important) You will be in Mus during 13th May and leave in the morning on 18th May 2011. The program will last for 5 days and the 6th day you will return your countries. Do not forget to arrange your travel in the most economic manner. The max travel cost is 450 Euro. We are going to pay %70 of your travel cost in Mus by cash. Don’t forget that we need the original tickets or invoices on which the prices are written clearly. We will send you the all the needed info about travel and accommodation as soon as we finalize the participants list. You can reserve your plane tickets to have cheaper ones and buy them after we confirm your participation. Please inform us by an e-mail regarding your participation before sending your application forms. We are sure that we will have a very enjoying program with you. We will stay at the center of the city and have many interactive workshops and activities during these 5 days. We will let you enough time to see our city and have fun!!! The nature of Mus is really wonderful and we hope you will have enough time to see Mus and have unforgettable experiences!
