Summary:
ACTIVE: healthy environment and volunteering is a training part of a series of events that ISCA is running, and will be focused on environment, volunteering and education through sport as the main topics.
Target group:
Project managers, Trainers, Young people, Youth leaders, Youth Policy Makers, Youth workers.
For participants from:
Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, United Kingdom.
Group size: 24 participants.

Content:
This training will deal with the importance of a healthy environment and the impact ofvoluntarism in society. The methodology of the training is based on:
• Non Formal Education as a means of facilitating the learning process and increase the interactivity of the event;
• Education through Sport, stressing the link between sport and environment;
• “Learning by doing” or “learning through experience”, meaning that practical workshops and individual experiences will be most of the time the starting point for reflection.
Objectives:
The objectives of the training are in brief:
• To extend awareness about environment in the sport for all field;
• To build competences on how to consider and integrate environment in sport;
• To understand the diverse roles of voluntarism in the development of society;
• To build competences on how to use the methodology “education through sport” to increase the active youth participation;
• To create a network of people interested in using the methodology “education through sport”.
Costs:
ISCA and UFOLEP will support all costs related to accommodation and food. The participants should arrange their own travel to and from France. Participants will receive a travel reimbursement of 70% of the total costs, up to the amounts mentioned below. The organizers will need to see all original tickets and receipts to be able to enable a refund. We encourage participants to make use of the cheapest methods of travel possible.
Maximum reimbursement of travel costs:
• France , The Netherlands €110;
• Germany, Portugal, € 120;
• United Kingdom, Denmark € 150;
• Slovenia, € 200;
• Iceland,Czech Republique € 250.
The participation fee for the seminar is 50 euro and will be deducted from the travel reimbursement if relevant.
