Summary:
The aim of this training course is to provide practical tools to participants to improve their communication skills in English for international youth work within European youth mobility and lifelong learning programmes.
Target group:
Project managers, Trainers, Young people, Youth leaders, Youth Policy Makers, Youth workers.
For participants from:
Youth in Action programme countries.
Group size: 25 participants.

Methodology:
The methodology used in this training activity is based on non-formal education and it is fully functional and topic-related. The training course is aimed at encouraging communication among the participants through simulation activities and communication exercises.
Objectives:
1. To provide participants with practical tools to “unblock” and improve their English language skills;
2. To develop strategies to handle communications in international youth work;
3. To help participants improve their existing communication skills in English in order to develop international projects in the field of youth work and mobility;
4. To rehearse practical situations where English communication is required (presentations of their jobs and tasks, presentations of their organisations, project design and presentation, etc.);
5. To provide information and vocabulary about the EU youth and lifelong learning programmes;
6. To develop English communication strategies to tackle cultural differences in order to facilitate understanding in intercultural and international environments;
7. To facilitate the building of long-lasting partnerships among participants’ organisations for future collaboration in projects.
Attention:
This course is designed for people who wish to gain confidence and get new tools to communicate in English based on their existing knowledge. This course is intended for participants with a beginners/intermediate level. (A1 –A2).
Costs:
This training course is partially financed by INTER-ACCION as a not-for-profit activity. The cost per participant is 390€ which includes accommodation and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), tuition fee, course materials, info pack, transportation from Murcia to Águilas and gift pack. The participants cover transportation to Murcia but we will be happy to help find low cost flights to Alicante airport.
Conditions:
Accommodation in double rooms with share bathrooms in a youth hostel on the beach. Supplement for single room with shared facilities 100€ Full board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and 2 coffee breaks. Participants must be over 18 years old to apply. Form of payment: Bank transfer upon the approval of your application by May 5. If there are less than 20 participants, the course will be suspended and the applicants will be fully refunded. Participants will be informed on May 10.
