Summary:
Training course for youth workers to improve their communication skills in English as well as IT skills. The main aim is to break the language barriers and motivate youth workers to organize projects under Youth in Action Programme.
Target group: Youth leaders, Youth workers.
For participants from:
Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic.
Group size: 16 participants.

Target group:
• youth workers, youth leaders who are willing to prepare international project but feel that their lack or weakness of practice of the English language is a barrier
• who can express themselves in basic English.
Objectives:
• to practice English;
• to improve your speaking skills in English;
• to learn vocabulary specific for project management;
• to learn how to manage all phases of an international project in English;
• to fill in the application form in English under the Youth in Action Programme;
• to learn how to use the social network and internet in youth work;
• to learn how to work with mass media and IT technology in youth work;
• to gain new international contacts during the training;
• to learn how to use internet databases of projects and organisations.
To search for partners:
• experience the everyday life of a youth organisation;
• gain inspiration for your work with young people;
• experience cooperation with EVS volunteers doing their voluntary service in Slovakia;
Costs:
Hosting costs (accommodationm food, programme) are covered by the organizers. Travel costs are refunded by the National Agencies of the Youth in Action Programme.
