About Project:
The Exchange will gather 20 youngsters and 5 leader from programme countries. The purpose of the project is getting to know more about each other via cinema as a cultural element. In this context, we will teach you technical information about theatre such as how to use a camera, create a cast etc. And then we will work on film making all together. At the end of the project , the participants will be educated about cinema and a short-film will be finished by collaboration of the participated groups.
Requirements for the Potential Partners:
Number of Participants: 4 young people + 1 leader.
Age limit: between 16-18 ages (no limit for the leaders).
• It’s important for us to have requirements about age limit and gender balance!
• The another important points is that the participants should have simple information about cinema.
• The participants have to create a short-film about their cities before the project takes place. The partners will present their short-films during the project. We will inform you about technical details and theme of your short-film after we determined the certain partners
Venue:
The Exchange will take place in Istanbul, Turkey. 70% of total travel costs will be reimbursed (up to 70% of available budget) when all air carrier, travel agency invoices, e-tickets, boarding passes and other tickets are delivered to us. All financial procedures of Youth in Action programme are valid such as accommodation, foods, drinks and all other expenses, they will be covered by host country.
Deadline and Application:
The potential partners may apply via our web page until 1 May 2011. After we determined the partners who will be involved in our project, we will inform you to send partIII by post.
