Eurogaming 2010 is a two year project with a main aim to increase the level of participation of young people from disadvantaged groups especially young people with disabilities in Youth in Action activities and promote non-formal education among more than 250 stakeholders. This project is built by a partnership between 9 NGOs specialized in international youth work, disability or volunteering and 5 Public institutions from 6 countries from European Union (Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, UK & Cyprus).Among the several activities held during the overall project, we will host a training course for youth leaders in Italy. The training courses will use NFE using the Eurogames2010 resource developed by the partnership for this project to increase the SKAs of youth leaders working with disadvantaged young people especially related to volunteering and the promotion of its role in raising the skills levels amongst young people especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The training will bring together 18 youth leaders and the trainers team working with disadvantaged young people who have some interest in NFE or the possibility to take advantage of an international volunteering opportunity like EVS. The training is held in Italy between June 09-18, 2011. For specific conditions for participants and trainers, please contact by email.
Costs:
Participants: 50% of travel costs will be reimbursed (the cheapest means of travel). There is no participation fee.
