Summary:
The ‘How do I learn best’ training course wants to explore “learning" questions in order to help participants to raise their awareness about their own learning and to improve their competences as facilitators of the learning of others.
Target group:
Trainers, Youth leaders, Youth workers mentor/coach.
For participants from: Austria, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Romania, Spain, Sweden.
Group size: 27 participants.

Il Bergamotto
The training course will take place in the agriturismo ‘Il Bergamotto’. An agriturismo is a farm offering as well accommodation and food. The main activity here is the cultivation of the bergamotto, a fruit close to the orange and lemon which only grows in this particular part of Calabria and is used for perfumes, tea and many other products. Next to wonderful food and beautiful surrounding the place offers a perfect environment for a training course.
The programme
The programme is designed in such a way that participants can follow their own needs in what they would like to explore, to find out what “learning best” means for them.
Topics that a.o will be offered in the programme are:
• the meaning of learning in 2011;
• my biography as a learner;
• how to diversify my learning;
• facilitation of learning in the framework of lifelong learning;
• how to overcome learning obstacles;
• identifying you learned something;
• documenting learning;
• a learning portfolio.
And of course there will be the possibility to explore the Calabrian environment and culture.
L2L project
UNIQUE and Pame Ambro were involved in the Learning to Learn project, a 2 year practice and research project funded by Grundtvig diving into the European Key Competence Learning to Learn. The How Do I Learn Best training course is inspired by this project and the outcomes of the course will be shared with the participants and partners.
Costs:
Travel costs of non-Italian resident participants are reimbursed up to 70%. Participation fees 100 Euros.
