Theme of the training course:
The new European Strategy “Investing and Empowering young people” brings a new direction into European Youth Work. One of the most relevant aspects of it to improve competences of young people and their personal and professional development through non – formal education in order to give them better opportunity to find job and being an employee. Nowadays in all over Europe one of the biggest hot issues is the unemployment and due to the economical crisis, more and more young people can not get a job, meanwhile they don’t have any possibility to improve their skills and gain more knowledge in order to have a better chance. With our training course, we would like to emphasis on the choices of unemployed young people: closing themselves into their rooms and being depressive, not having contact with their environment and give it up after getting no letters for a job interview OR being a volunteer, participate and initiate new activities and through these getting to know new people, improve communication and language skills, gaining new information and knowledge, raising self – confidence and learning by doing. We believe that this question is very essential in that moment in South East Europe and European Union as well equally. So we would like to ask this question from our participants and examine together how Youth in Action programme, especially International youth exchanges and EVS can make a better life for young people in all over Europe.
