Details:
The Facilitation and Youth Empowerment seminar is a five day long course where you get tools to facilitate processes of open dialogue, brainstorming and collective decision making. During the seminar we also explore how facilitation is connected with empowerment processes and processes of change. By the end of the course you will have gained skills that will enable you to involve young people in different projects, campaigns and processes of local development. The course is built on the pedagogical principle of learning-by-doing which means that you will be thrown into exercises and translate theories into practice. Also the course use the method of experiencedbased learning, which mean that you will learn from your previous experiences, the experiences gained at the seminar, and the experiences of your fellow peers at the seminar. Through the entire course you will receive constructive criticism and supervision from professional training consultants, the experienced volunteer trainers, as well as your fellow participants. You will be divided into teams thus learning about group work and teambuilding.
Costs:
240 Euros.The price includes accommodation, food and course materials.
