Summary:
"Think globally, act locally!" is an international (3.1) seminar for active young people. The key theme of the Activity is environmental education for youth.
Target group: Young people, Youth leaders, Youth Policy Makers, Youth workers.
For participants from: Estonia, Italy, Belarus.
Group size: 28 participants.
Details:
The maim theme of the project is environmental education aiming at raising understanding of young people and consequently increasing their interest and willingness to get involved and motivate their peers to participate in environmental protection, agitate healthy life in their countries.
The project objectives are follows:
• to promote environmental education for youth;
• to promote non-formal education;
• to raise consciousness of recycling;
• to provide knowledge about ecology and climate changes;
• to show the importance of taking care of the planet and involve youth in environmental protection;
• to promote and agitate sport and healthy life;
• to develop intercultural learning;
• to foster understanding between young people from different cultures;
• to promote European cooperation in a youth field and people’s active citizenship;
• to raise understanding and consciousness of recycling among local people;
• to involve local society in environmental protection.
Costs:
The 70 % of travel expenses will be reimbursed . 100% visa costs. Accommodation and lodging for the duration of the seminar will be provided.
