Association "Room of Fulfilled Dreams" from Latvia is calling for organizations that are working in the field of media education and would like to improve their expertise and exchange their experiences in the training course about teaching media literacy "MediaED LAB". TC "MediaED LAB" aims to advance media literacy - the ability to interpret, understand and evaluate media and its messages and to produce media content. The program will strengthen critical thinking skills of the participants and give organizations knowledge and tools needed to implement media education programs - participants will learn and exchange practical tools and methods that can be used to develop and implement media literacy workshops and courses for pupils and students, the most vulnerable consumers of media. Participants will share information about state of media education in different European countries and learn to design media education programs, prepare sample media training plans that can be used in practical work of the organizations and also improve their facilitation and leadership skills.Training program will include also work on new YiA projects (exchanges, trainings, EVS) in the media education field. Two participants will be expected from each organization. We'll appreciate your partnership in this project!
