Volunteering can be consider as action through which can be experience global cosmopolitanism that should trigger interesting questions, discussion…The possibilities of volunteering are endless. But really, Why Is Volunteering Important? Why some people do it? And some do not? What can we get out of volunteering? How we can promote it? And mainly how we can ensure that volunteerism make difference? The nine days training course. The Importance of Volunteering will gather youth workers, leaders as other actors with aim to create open platform for learning and sharing with goal to bring together organizations working with young people in order to increase knowledge of the participants in the following fields – project and crisis management, fund – raising for voluntary work, social marketing, communication in order to foster exchange of skills and experience from different cultural perspectives. Besides this the project will help to build new connections between all participants in order to promote future cooperative projects and exchanges involving not only the participants but also their beneficiaries. Volunteerism is important contributor to economic development and by this training course we would like to also contribute to developing better understanding of the scope and contribution of volunteer work in all involved countries as it is important that contribution of volunteer work is recognized by society and by policymakers as essential for the well-being of any society.
