We would ivite you to participate in the Study Visit nº 161 "Cross Curricular Entrepreneurial Activities", we are organizing in Aveiro, Portugal, at Escola Profissional de Aveiro, from 4th to 8th June 2012. Among the Key Competences for lifelong learning highlighted by the Commission, the entrepreneurial skills and competences should be enhanced to any levels of education and training in the view of a better and more qualified access to the labour market. Through our participation in the CEDEFOP synthesis seminar on “Preparing young people for a successful integration into the labour market: a challenge for Europe” (Thessaloniki, 28 February - 1 March 2011) and in particular in the Workshop Session devoted to “Young people’s pathway to entrepreneurial thinking”, we had the chance to exchange experiences and discuss on some good practices presented during the workshop, concerning transition from VET to the world of work and to the entrepreneurial culture. In this study visit we thus aim to share good practices concerning the promotion of entrepreneurial skills through specific extra-curricular activities, methods and methodologies for developing entrepreneurial skills and supporting entrepreneurs, visit business incubators, businesses created with support of local infrastructures, among other activities and visits.
