Activity date: 8 days in July 2012
Venue place, venue country: Busteni,Romania
Group size: 6+1 people from organization (young people between 17-25 years old; no age limit for leader). Each partner should come with a group that will present a national folk dance with traditional costumes.
Details:
During our Project youngsters coming different countries will tell to foreigner youngsters their knowledges about their popular stories and folk dances. Representing the elements of history ,youngsters could inform the others about their own culture and make their countries closer. In this way they will build an intercultural dialogue and they will consolidate the knowledge one to each other. During the project our group and the other participants will work together in workshops to present ‘Popular stories and folk dances’. In this way told stories will contribute to make the history unforgettable and immortal. At the end of project there will be a street performance in the community.
Costs:
No participation fee. Conditions of reimbursement: 70% from travel costs (according to rules of Youth in Action Programme).
Send the following information until 9th August:
- Aprox cost of transport from your location to Bucharest (please mention if you will come by train/plane/bus);
- Send us photos/videos taken during activities your organisation has done that involved folk dances;
- Propose dates in July when your group can come to the project;
- If you had experience in a project with folk dances please share your experience and if you have any ideas you want to propose about daily programme etc it will be very useful;
- If you have a website please send us the link;
- You will find in attachement Part3.
