Presentation of Project Owner Youth Group
"National Youth group" aims to participate young people from all levels of educational institutions to the management lines of business, to support the exchange of information on professional subjects among young people, to improve their creativity and themselves, to develop exploration of the problems, to find solutions and the provision of support with the love of man and nature, respect for human rights-Revolutions of Atatürk's principles and tight-knit- democratic values, attitudes and behaviors, as individuals grow up with, the republic's secular, democratic and social state of law, and organizational awareness to develop feelings of loyalty to the characteristics, family, society and the strengthening of ties of nation, country and world peace, the environment and the areas of social development in order to be more effective convergence between domestic and international young people and youth organizations, solidarity and the realization of cooperation, active participation of young people. With these purposes, our group carried out a lot of social responsibility projects with 20 active members and more than 50 volunteers from the center of Mardin.
Duration of Project: 5 Month.
Aim of the Project
“Cities in my heart Moves” Project is for visually-impaired and hearing impaired youths. Main objective of the project is adapted disabled young people to social life. On the other objective of the project is, using sports and experience learning style. During the project intercultural learning will be used so prejudices will be abated. For this aim, we will organise one of the bicycle race (Bicycles are appropriate for blind and healthy youth people) in Konya. Bicylces have 2 footsep, 2 catches and 2 saddles. Project partners and their disabled participants will sit the back of the bicycle. Turkish hearing impared youths will sit in front of the bicycle. All the participant will conflict for same aim. Intercultural awareness will develop all the project. Bicycle race will organise between Konya City Centre and Mevlana Museum which is about 2 kms long. Mevlana has known with his allowance philosophy in all over the world. Project main theme was edited to think Mevlana’s philosophy. Project partners will discover Konya’s wealth and will have good, funny and instructive time.
Project Activities:
• To Introduce Mevlana ( RUMI ) Philosophy;
• Trip in Mevlana (RUMI) Museum;
• Trip in the city centre;
• Preparing for the bicycle reace;
• Bicycle Race;
• Visit Local Politicians;
• Outdoor Activities.
Project Partner Expectations:
Every partners of project will prepare for bicycle race with 2 visually impaired youngsters. Participants have to know that they have Turkish partner which is hearing impaired. For this reason visually impaired youngsters and hearing impaired youngsters have to be consistent. On the other hand, partners of project must search Mevlana’s philosopy and learn his allowance philosophy. Each partner has 5+1 particiapants.

Costs:
Youth in Action Programme accommodation and food will be provided by the organizers. Travel costs to the venue and back will be covered 70%
