Details:
New Technologies for Youth Leaders is a partnership building activity which aims to encourage new partnerships in order to develope future projects focused on the use of new media and technologies in the youth work and non-profit sector. Partnership building acitivity will be based on non-formal methods of learning, mainly on sharing practical experience with use of new technologies in various NGOs. For this, techniques such as Open Space Technology, moderated discussions and role-playing games will be used. Five days long meeting of young people from 12 European countries aims to help all participating organizations to prepare projects for the upcoming year in close cooperation with partners from all over the Europe. In order to achieve this goal, the meeting will create space for sharing experience with usage of various tools as well as for experimenting with the new ones. Outcomes of the event will include on-line database, blogs, video tutorials, drafts of various e-learning platform designs, and project proposals with suggestions of topics and tools related to the world of new media and technologies which will be sumbitted to the national agencies by partner organizations.
Costs:
Participation fee is 50 Euros.
Other related cost (accommodation, full board) is covered by the Youth in Action Programme. 70% of the travel cost will be reimbursed by organizers.
