Thus, only the producers (production teams), not the EESC, can be held responsible for the contents of their videos in case of any legal action undertaken by third parties.

Data protection

Any personal data relating to this video challenge will be treated following the regulation (EC) no 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the institutions of the European Union and bodies and on the free movement of such data. Nota Bene:

On specific request we would like to clarify the following 2 points for all interested and potential participants (both marked with "NB" and a hyperlink in the above text)

- Under an amateur production team we understand that no team member holds a diploma and executes professional activities in the field of film-media or film/video production;
- The production team has to ask a consent from all the persons who appear in their video in order to prove the respect of privacy (it can be requested by the EESC at a later stage). If minors appear in the video, that consent should be signed by parents or legal tutors.
