Training Course aims to prepare the leaders for voluntary projects and workcamps,to increase awareness about culturally sensitive issues in voluntary projects.

Group size: 30 participants.
Details:
“SFERA” movement is happy to invite you to participate in Training Course “LEAD ME TO PEACE” youth leaders training course which will take place in Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia from 23rd till 29th of May, 2012 with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. Training Course aims to prepare the leaders for voluntary projects and workcamps, to increase awareness about culturally sensitive issues and human rights in voluntary projects. Training will be focused on conflict transformation and leadership in a multinational group. In the frame of the training course following topics will be touched:
• intercultural learning;
• Human Rights
• leadership in multi-cultural, multi-national groups;
• team-building;
• group dynamic,
• decision-making and conflict transformation;
• key constituents of the intercultural dialogue;
• non-formal education;
• tolerance and peace-building;
• promotion of European solidarity and cooperation;
• efficient communication in a group.
Participant’s profile:
Participants should be from Council of Europe member states.
We expect to meet young people at the age 18-30 who already have or would like to have an experience of work camp or other international project leading.

To take part in this TC, please fill in the attached application form and send it by e-mail. Please make sure we receive those documents before 13 April. Furthermore, please indicate your estimated travel costs (round trip) from your home town to Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia.
Costs:
Financial support is provided by the European Youth Foundation. Board, Lodging and all materials during TC are covered. You are in charge of arranging your own insurance for your travel and stay in Russia. You are in charge of your visa. Visa costs are not covered. Travel reimbursement: 70% of actual travel costs (up to the defined maximum reimbursement sum for each country).Participation fee is EUR 50.
