Summary:
This structured intense course aims to improve participants’ practical skills in the design, management and funding of European projects from shaping the idea, to identify the right european programme, to design a good project to get the get the funds.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Project managers.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: max 25 participants
Details:
The confirmed participants will have the right to access a well-structured pre-departure programme that will help them to make the most of their attendance. The core of the preparation phase will go around the E-learning portal of the course. The participants will have a personal account and a guide to access the portal. Through it they will access the relevant introduction reading materials for the course (including EU publications, programme guides, ad hoc slide). On the E-learning portal the participants will fill a pre-start questionnaire and depending on the result specific reading materials will be suggested. Reviewing exercise will be available as well to trace the learning process. Participants and staff will fill a brief description of themselves available to everybody. The participants will moreover be asked to gather a list of 1-3 project ideas and share them with the other participants for the cooperative design. The idea will be voted by the participants and the staff and the most interesting will be developed during the course. Accordingly to the vote the participants will be divided in group of 3-4 people. Prior experience is not essential the course refers both to individuals with and without experience. Instead participants should be in a position that allows them to initiate and be partners of EU projects. During the prep phase the training and administrative/support staff will assure a continuous support being available via telephone, mail and skype. Finally a course infosheet (including logistic information, emergency contacts, what to bring, basic linguistic phrases, insurance rights …) will be sent to each participant. Thanks to the training “European Projects design, management and funding: how to develop a good learning project and get the funds” that will take place in Bologna (Italy) from the 22d June till the 29th June 2013 the trainees will learn how to design, manage and get the funding for your learning project. Thanks to Grundtvig LLP in-service training scholarships and grants you’ll be able to attend this 1-week intense course and get access to the e-learning website for as much as 0 €. • Acquire knowledge and practical information about EU policies and funding opportunities through specific and project-oriented learning sessions;
• Improve their practical skills related to the management of the ideation and application process (including how design and write a good european project) through cooperative compilation of application forms and the analysis of successful projects;
• Learn and get guidance on the preparation and management of the financial, budgeting and contractual aspects through concrete examples and direct evidence;
• Learn best practices related the planning and implementation of the preparatory, visibility, dissemination and follow-up phases through concrete case studies and successful projects;
• Make contacts with individuals and organisations interested in developing European projects through everyday cooperation and specific activities;
• Spend one week in Italy with travel, accomodation and food covered by Grundtvig in-service training scholarship.
Costs:
If you will get the grant from your Lifelong Learning Programme National agency, you will have all the costs of the training covered: travel, food, accommodation, tuition, materials).
