Summary:
This course is an experiential learning application of strength-based techniques to coaching for employability and targets education professionals who have a desire to work on their personal and professional development.
Target group:
Youth workers, Trainers, Project managers, Adult education staff.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.

Details:
INTER-ACCION has developed and delivered this course to a number of public and private organisations across Europe. This is a special occasion where we have the opportunity to offer this course to education and training professionals with the support of the European Union LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME. Our methodology is based on cognitive behavioural coaching techniques and strength-based approaches. You will be introduced to and experiment with a variety of non-formal learning exercises and techniques, such as group work, role-playing, simulations, creation activities, peer-interviews, feedback activities, debriefing, etc., to approach the contents. You will go through the stages of Appreciative Inquiry. Appreciative Inquiry is an organisational development technique. It is a particular way of asking questions and envisioning the future, which allows positive synergies and develops what is positive in a person, situation, or organisation.
Costs:
This training is aimed at participants receiving a Grundtvig grant (Adult Education). In-service training activities enable people working in the field of adult learning to undertake a training course abroad. Participants should improve their practical teaching, coaching, counselling or management skills and gain a broader understanding of adult learning in Europe. This course is listed on the Grundtvig Training database and is eligible for funding to cover the following costs on an individual basis:
• Course fee: 550€ (Tuition and Material);
• Accommodation and Food: 500€;
• Travel expenses.
Working language: English.
